Each day, Interns and Service Learning participants work with their mentors in activities to heighten their skills in Design Thinking, Computational Thinking and Spatial Thinking. Here are some recent highlights.
Advanced Coding Interns visit the Comcast building and learn what it takes to work in a corporate environment. They even got a magnificent view of the city from the top floor.
MIS Interns visit the Academy of Music to learn more about its history. A former Pennsylvania Ballet ballerina was generous enough to provide them a tour of the opera house, which included the historical background, as well as a full guest experience of the show.
Neuroscience Interns take a trip to the Mutter Museum, where they explore the human body on an in-depth level. Interns viewed various skeletons, organs and fascinating, but chilling body deformities.
