James Moustafellos is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management Information Systems and Associate Director of the Center for Design + Innovation, Fox School of Business, Temple University. He holds a Master of Architecture degree from Princeton University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia College, Columbia University.
Mr. Moustafellos is engaged in design, production, research and entrepreneurship. He is co-principal of Intellectual Property LLC, an interdisciplinary research and design studio based in Philadelphia. The goal of Intellectual Property is to use the design of architecture and objects to explore social and cultural relationships. The studio’s research and design work comprises architecture, strategy, graphics and product design. Mr. Moustafellos is also a founding partner of EnA / Elements and Alloys, a new luxury brand of fine jewelry.
Prior to his appointment in the Fox School of Business, Mr. Moustafellos taught in the Department of Architecture, Tyler School of Art, Temple University and the Graduate School of Design, University of Pennsylvania. Previous design experience includes the architectural offices of Ballinger in Philadelphia, Kohn Pedersen Fox and Francois de Menil, Architect in New York, and Taisei Corporation in Tokyo, Japan.
